What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept check or cash payments at the time of service. Currently, I do not accept insurance. I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments; please inquire as to the availability of these sessions.
What kinds of clients do you see?
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to overcome emotional and behavioral problems. I offer unique therapeutic interventions regarding depression, anxiety, trauma related and relational issues. I have extensive experience working with children and adults who have endured trauma.
What can I expect from our sessions?
I meet with clients for 50 minutes wherein we explore and address issues that have brought you in for therapy. During the therapeutic relationship, you can expect me to provide compassionate, thoughtful and research based interventions. I will also occasionally suggest “homework” that we will follow up on during subsequent sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that clients provide 48 hours notice if an appointment needs to cancelled or rescheduled. I also understand that unforeseen life circumstances arise and can sometimes offer an alternate appointment time to avoid a missed appointment fee.
Do you offer initial phone consultations?
Yes, I look forward to speaking with you on the phone to discuss your needs and expectations. Free phone consultations are limited to 20 minutes prior to the first session.
